Famed actor and Black Cowboy Glynn Turman was honored as a recipient of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award during the 40th annual Bill Pickett invitational rodeo championships at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlborough, Maryland. Turman knows for his roll in “Raisin In The Son” “Cooley High” and founded Camp Gid D Up to teach horse skills and values to urban youth in southern California.
