COVE CREEK, NORTH CAROLINA: CHRIS HAMILTON of the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey regroups at the Cove Creek in Cove Creek, NC rest stop during day three of the Major Taylor Mountain Summit held in Blowing Rock, NC on Friday, April 23, 2021. 60 cyclist registered for the annual event which is it’s 20th anniversary. This year summit’s activities were cut short due to the pandemic and weather but managed two days of riding that including season riders, racers and pros. The courses ran through parts of North Carolina Tennessee and off and on of the Blue Ridge Parkway. This year training was to include upwards of 14,000 feet of climbing but because of cold and rainy weather the summit was shorten by two days. (Brian B Price/Thefotodesk)
