SHELBY, NORTH CAROLINA: REKO FLORES left and his brother Tyrone both of Belize at the annual Ebony Horsemen Trail ride in Mooresboro, NC on Saturday, August 19, 2023. The Ebony Horseman have been hosting their annual ride since 2003. Flores while taking up temporary residence in Conyers, GA is a 5-tim ranch Bronc Champion. At least a 1000 horseman participate and over 8,000 spectators attend to see the riders, rodeo, line dance, support venders. The event space is 20 acres and holds up to five thousand campers, cars, and tents. Attendees are charged an entry fee beginning a 60 bucks for the four day event but the horsemen are free. The event has space for an arena, social room and public showers and about 50 port-a-johns cleaned daily and at least 75 venders with food, clothing, cigars, mechanical bulls, and more (Brian Branch-Price/TheFotoDesk)
