Demonstrators are shown during the Black Lives Matter: The People’s peaceful protest march in New York, New York. The organizers and demonstrators are demanding justice for Kawasaki Trawick. Over a year ago Trawick, then 32, was shot twice in his own apartment by two NYPD officers officers Brendan Thompson and Herbert Davis while he was cooking in Morris Heights apartment on April 14, 2019. The Bronx District Attorney said that investigators found no criminality in Trawick's death.
